Why I Became Interested in Hypnosis and Became a Hypnotherapist –
A personal experience that completely overturned my logical thinking
A few years ago, I suddenly began experiencing a sharp, persistent pain in my right abdomen. It was so intense that most people—including doctors—thought it was appendicitis.
But after several scans, I was diagnosed with something I had never heard of: diverticulitis.
And honestly, I still didn’t fully understand what that meant—other than pain that felt impossible to explain. (Some people compare it to the pain of childbirth—I'll just say it was one of the worst things I’ve ever felt.)
Doctors told me it was a diet-related issue, like many other IBS conditions. But that didn’t sit right with me.
I’ve always had a pretty healthy lifestyle— veggies, fruits, regular exercise. Still, the pain often kept coming back.
No answers. Just frustration.
Eventually, I started searching for alternative perspectives. I joined a few groups in social media … and that’s when someone said something different they help with this

"My first reaction was: ‘Hypnosis? Don’t be silly. That’s a scam. No way I’d try that. What if they hypnotize me and take all my money? Or what if I lose control completely?’"
But something made me pause… and really start to think......
